Chee Hong Tat has been serving in Bishan-Toa Payoh since 2015. He is currently the Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Finance, and Deputy Chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

Trained in electrical engineering and economics, Hong Tat believes in working with others to tackle challenges and solve problems together. He applies this approach in rejuvenating Bishan-Toa Payoh to build strong communities for residents of all ages.

He advocates for a competitive economy with inclusive growth – one that provides good jobs for Singaporeans and cares for all segments of society, so no one is left behind. He encourages those who have done well to give back to society through philanthropy and volunteerism.

As a father of four, Hong Tat wants to build a Singapore where our children will be proud to call home.
